Inaugural Theater Celebration The Festival’s Lineup Includes Broadway Stars Audra McDonald, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Adam Pascal, And More

This summer, Kingston, New York, will take Broadway under the stars to new heights. A fresh celebration of theater staking claim on the city’s historic riverfront.

Beginning on August 14, The Festival will reunite some of Broadway’s most celebrated voices for a three-day outdoor extravaganza. This inaugural event is holding nothing back, securing participation from dozens of Tony Award-winning performers, including Audra McDonald, Kelli O’Hara, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jason Robert Brown, Norbert Leo Butz, James Monroe Iglehart, Tom Kitt, Lauren Patten, Adrienne Warren, and Alex Newell.

Christopher Jackson, Amber Ardolino, Julie Benko, Denée Benton, Tommy Bracco, Jenn Colella, Cara Rose DiPietro, Tyler Joseph Ellis, Mandy Gonzalez, Casey Likes, Eva Noblezada, Seth Rudetsky, Ben Levi Ross, Talia Suskauer, Joy Woods

While The Festival will feature a nod to Rent, with a 30th anniversary concert starring original cast members Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Adam Pascal, and Anthony Rapp, organizers emphasized that the program is not a showing of other beloved productions.

“The Festival will include themed shows with your favorite Broadway talent singing songs you know and love them for, as well as songs you might not expect,” read the event’s promotional materials. “There won’t be any full musicals performed.”

Organizers went on to discuss what attendees will experience. “Expect to see great solo shows, themed shows, and tributes to composers you love, some of those composers in the flesh performing with members of our lineup,” continued the letter.

The Festival is directed by Jerry Mitchell and D.B. Bonds.

The event has four ticket tiers: general admission (starts at $425), reserved seating (starts at $650), premium reserved seating (starts at $875), and VIP premium reserved (stars at $1,450)

The Festival is scheduled to take place from August 14 to August 16, 2026, at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, New York. The lineup and performance dates are subject to change. Tickets are rain or shine. No refunds for inclement weather. For more information about The Festival and to purchase tickets, click here.
