Last month, Phoebe Bridgers surprised fans with a special one-night-only show at The Liberty in Rosewell, New Mexico. The only request made by Bridgers was that attendees remain fully present. On the promotional poster plastered around the city and online (viewable here), the “Motion Sickness” singer declared the show a tech-free environment.
“No cellphones, smart watches, smart glasses, cameras, or recording devices allowed,” read the graphic in bold font.
So, when teased a follow-up $1 Madison Square Garden performance on June 4, supporters had an inkling that the same rule would apply. They were indeed correct. Over on Instagram, Phoebe Bridgers ditched the cryptic posts to directly announce her forthcoming The Lost Tour.
“I’m going on tour—no phones,” wrote Bridgers on Instagram.
Due to overwhelming demand, Bridgers has already expanded that run. The now 31-date tour will launch on September 14 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. On November 23, Bridgers will begin the tour’s European Union and United Kingdom leg starting at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Bridgers has added additional stops in Indianapolis, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dublin, and London.
Alex G will join Bridgers on the road as the tour’s solo supporting act in North America. When Bridgers takes over the UK and EU, Isaac Wood (former vocalist for Black Country, New Road) and Anaïs will step in as opening support.
Proceeds from the North American leg of Phoebe Bridgers’ The Lost Tour will be donated to a great cause. In a note provided to ENVERT, it was revealed that $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization and operator of the National Sexual Assault Hotline.
