YHWH Nailgun Inks A Deal With 4AD Following Dazzling Performance At 2026 C2C NYC Festival

The experimental rock scene just got a bit more exciting, and momentum can be traced back to rising band YHWH Nailgun. Last March, the New York City-based band shook up the circuit after sharing their debut album, 45 Pounds.

Now members Zack Borzone (vox), Jack Tobias (synth), Sam Pickard (drums), and Saguiv Rosenstock (guitar) are rattling things up even further. On May 13, in an Pitchfork exclusive, YHWH Nailgun revealed that they had switched label home.

As of the article’s publishing, YHWH Nailgun was officially signed to 4AD meaning they had parted ways with label AD 93 Recordings and distribution company Many Hats Endeavors. Neither the “Animal Death Already Breathing” musicians, AD 93, nor Many Hats Endeavors has released a statement regarding the split.

The sole semi-statement YHWH Nailgun issued to the public arrived during their dazzling performance at C2C NYC on May 8, 2026. In front of the Knockdown Center crowd, YHWH Nailgun teased their 45 Pounds follow-up wasn’t far away.

YHWH Nailgun went on to preview just over 10 minutes of unreleased music. A video clip shared on Instagram seemingly confirmed that the music was part of a forthcoming body of work titled, Magazine.

No further information about Magazine such as release date or project length, has been announced. But once it is shared across streaming platforms that would mark YHWH Nailgun’s debut on 4AD.
