Music lovers have a soft spot for JMSN. The Detroit singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer has a long-documented propensity for crafting catchfire tunes. After a viral boost, JMSN’s single “Love Me” quickly flooded social media platform TikTok.
Now, the tune’s spike in popularity has earned JMSN a sweet professional accolade. Over on Instagram, JMSN revealed that the song has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), marking his first-ever record to achieve this monumental sales metric.
“My first gold record,” JMSN wrote.
He went on to reveal the accomplishment comes with a price tag, as the RIAA’s official website does not currently list “Love Me.”
“But I ain’t paying to have it certified,” he wrote. “So here’s the invoice haha. Love y’all!”
Fans flooded JMSN’s comment section to pledge their own funds to ensure he could celebrate the massive feat. But the fans weren’t alone. Rapper The Game volunteered to pay the RIAA tab.
“I got you, bro,” wrote the rapper.
He jokingly continued, “Charge it to The Game.”

After the offer extension, JMSN welcomed the support, writing: “haha, let’s go!”

The official metrics for “Love Me” have not yet been made public. Yet, based on the RIAA certification criteria, the minimum units sold in order to be certified gold is 500,000.
Following weeks of teasing the record, JMSN released his official video for “Love Me” in July 2023. Then in October of the same year, JMSN dropped the album, Soft Spot, in which the self-produced tune was featured. Watch JMSN’s official self-directed video for “Love Me” below.
