Utah’s beloved music festival is just around the corner. This spring thousands of festivalgoers will flock to Salt Lake City’s Utah State Fairpark for the Kilby Block Party, slated for May 15 through May 17.
The 2026 Kilby Block Party headliners are Turnstile (May 15), The xx (May 16), and Lorde (May 17). Although The xx serves as this year’s sole independent label headliner among the lineup you will find a plethora of indie acts including Father John Misty, Japanese Breakfast, Hayley Williams, and Between Friends.
Other notable independent acts slated to perform include Beach Bunny, Snail Mail, Dry Cleaning, Die Spitz, Ben Kweller, Dehd, Magdalena Bay, Flipturn, and Folk Bitch Trio.
If these names weren’t enough, on the event’s closing day, May 17, festivalgoers can look forward to a special performance by Jack Tatum’s indie rock project, Wild Nothing. Wild Nothing’s set is exclusively dedicated to their 2010 debut album, Gemini.
