The country’s largest independently owned festival, Outside Lands, is quickly approaching. On March 3, organizers confirmed that come August, the multi-day event will celebrate its 18th anniversary.
From August 7 to August 9, Outside Lands 2026 will take over Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. Charli xcx, RÜFÜS DU SOL, The Strokes, The xx, Baby Keem, Turnstile, GRIZTRONICS (Subtronics + GRiZ), Djo, Labrinth, Empire Of The Sun, and Dijon will serve as this year’s headliners.
Among the jam-packed list of confirmed entertainers, you will quickly notice the overwhelming sea of independent artists, including Grammy Award-winning singers Durand Bernarr & Sierra Ferrell, Destin Conrad, and Ethel Cain.
Other notable independent acts set to perform at Outside Lands 2026 include Clipse, Death Cab For Cutie, Wet Leg, Trixie Mattel, ALLEYCVT, Die Spitz, Silvana Estrada, Dylan Brady, and Momma.
The festival’s daily schedule has not yet been revealed. But organizers confirmed performances will take place across seven spaces: Lands End Stage, Twin Peaks Stage, Sutro Stage, Panhandle Stage, SOMA, Dolores’ Stage, and the Duboce Triangle.
In a statement, Outside Lands’ co-founder Allen Scott expressed pride over the festival’s robust inclusion of independent artists.
“Every year, we strive to deliver a lineup that excites and surprises—letting fans see their favorites while discovering new music,” said Scott. “For our 18th anniversary, we can’t wait to celebrate the power and impact of music across genres in our one-of-a-kind setting of Golden Gate Park.”
In addition to the musical performance, Outside Lands will feature a range of supporting experiences. For the eighth year, Grass Lands, the festival’s cannabis space, will return. Other activities include culinary experiences, Taste of the Bay Area, Wine Lands, Beer Lands, and Cocktail Magic.
Tickets for Outside Lands 2026 are available in four tiers: three-day general admission, general admission plus (GA+), VIP, and the Golden Gate Club package. Three-day general admission tickets start at $569. General admission plus tickets start at $899. The VIP ticket will run you $1,499. With a starting price tag of $5,299, festivalgoers can secure the Golden Gate Club package.
