Brittney Carter has been Chicago’s best-kept secret since 2020’s As I Am. Well, this spring, the “pinksweater” rapper’s talent will shine on stages around the country.
Last month (January 28), soul trio Moonchild (comprised of Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, and Max Bryk) announced Brittney Carter as their WAVES Tour‘s official guest. Moonchild’s WAVES Tour is set to kick off on March 5 at Warehouse Live Midtown in Houston, Texas.
Across the nearly three-month run, Moonchild and Brittney Carter will make 28 stops in several major cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, and more.
In a statement shared on their official Instagram page, Moonchild gushed about Carter, writing: “Brittney is an incredible rapper from Chicago who we’ve been in love with for a long, long time!”
They continued: “[We] can’t wait to share the stage with [her]! Shout out to Gq Tha Teacha for introducing us all those years ago!”
