Tweet Enters Into New Record Deal With SRG-ILS Group

The Southern hummingbird is ready to spread her musical wing yet again. Tweet is an extremely active touring musician. However, the “Neva Shoulda Left Me” singer’s last studio album, Charlene, was released in 2016 (via Entertainment One).

But Tweet’s hiatus will soon come to an end. Tweet has entered into a new record Deal With SRG-ILS Group.

In a statement shared with Rated R&B, Tweet and SRG-ILS Group’s CEO Claude Villani expressed joy over the deal.

“I’m very excited to partner with the SRG/Virgin Music family on this project,” said Tweet.” It’s long overdue, and my fans have waited a very long time, and I’m finally able to share it with the world.”

She continued: “[Claude Villani], thank you for believing in me, and I look forward to making history together.”

Villani echoed Tweet’s sentiments while teasing her debut project on the label. “Everyone at SRG/ILS is very excited about this project, which is the legitimate follow-up to the amazing platinum-selling album ‘Southern Hummingbird,'” he chimed. “Tweet’s musicality and vibe remain unmatched. It is a perfect record for people who love real Soul, R&B, and just great music.”

Neither Tweet nor the representatives at SRG-ILS Group have shared any further details about the singer’s teased music. For more information, be sure to stay connected with Tweet across your preferred social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
