Sasha Keable Talks About Receiving Beyoncé’s Co-Sign On ‘The Terrell Show’

British artists are making a significant impact on R&B in America, particularly those from South London. Sasha Keable is among the list of dynamic musicians making a splash across the pond.

The “Act Right” singer is growing a mighty movement of supporters across the US. One of Sasha Keable’s most famous fans is none other than Beyoncé. In a cover interview with GQ, Beyoncé gave a glowing stamp of approval to a host of other musicians, including Keable.

During an appearance on The Terrell Show, Sasha Keable shared her reaction to the co-sign.

“Beyoncé said she was listening to a few artists,” said Terrell. “[…] and your name came out of her mouth. I know that had to feel crazy.”

Keable immediately validated the host’s assumption. “Yeah,” she said. “It still doesn’t feel real. I still look at [the shout-out] sometimes to be like, ‘Really? Did she say that?’ But, it’s mad. To say my name in something that she would have wheeled my tune…yeah.”

To return the love, Keable belted out a cover of Beyoncé’s 2011 song “1+1.”
