Kota The Friend’s Flight Night Music Fest is ready for a Los Angeles takeover. Yesterday (July 23), the event announced this year’s lineup on its official Instagram page.
On September 21, Kota The Friend, LaRussell, and Ab-Soul will headline Flight Night Music Fest 2024 set to be held at The Novo. Additional performers include Reason, Anastazja, Price, Nana, Huey Briss, Radamiz, and No Suits, with Jordan Rock on hosting duties.
In a statement, the team outlined the festival’s origins. “In its early days, Flight Night was a showcase for some of the best upcoming talent in New York,” read the note. “The original Flight Night showcase, created by Kota The Friend, was held at Two Steps Down Restaurant in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn… Joey Bada$$ was also a frequent attendee. He established Pro Era right outside a Flight Night Event.”
