Alternative-R&B singer Foushée has shown no signs of slowing down since her breakout performance as part of Live at Apollo showcase at the legendary Apollo Theater back in August. Her surprise Sofar Sounds NYC performance (embedded above) at the Ray-Ban flagship store is a testament to that!
Her latest single, “By One” deemed by AFROPUNK as “the modern day break-up anthem” tenderly touches on the a love that has since come to pass. Beautifully composed, the New Jersey native’s new single blends the best elements of our favorite genres including pop, R&B and Rock.
In our exclusive interview with the songwriter back in October, she hinted that fans would experience a whole new side of her saying, “it’s been two years since I’ve started searching for the right production because everyone is following a trend but my executive producer and I have found what I was searching for. It’s hard to pin it down but it’s sort of alternative soul.”
