Tribeca Film Festival Announced Its 2026 Artist Awards Program Cohort Alongside Chanel In Collaboration With Curator Zoe Lukov

The 2026 Tribeca Film Festival is set to kick off on June 3. With this year’s jury confirmed, the beloved multiday cinema event still has a few festival-related things to reveal. In an official statement shared by organizers, Tribeca has now unveiled their Artists Awards Program cohort in partnership with Chanel.

This year, the festival’s annual initiative will connect contemporary visual artists Bony Ramirez, Brendan Fernandes, Carrie Mae Weems, Hank Willis Thomas, Jason Bard Yarmosky, Joshua Woods, Kiki Smith, Soull & Dynasty Ogun, Tavares Strachan, and Tosh Basco with 2026 winners.

On June 11, during the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival award ceremony, this year’s cohort will either be commissioned for original artwork or gift a piece to the winning filmmakers. The Tribeca and CHANEL Artist Awards Program is a cherry on top of an already sweet professional win.

This year’s program is done in collaboration with curator Zoe Lukov. Lukov personally assembled a collective of contemporary artists whose practices span film and visual art. In a statement shared with ENVERT, Lukov fondly spoke about the highly admired program.

“Visual artists invited to participate this year were encouraged to explore ideas of character, costuming, and performance,” said Lukov. “The works address the adornment and revelation of the body in both abstract and figurative ways—how we obscure, embellish, reveal, bare, and become.”

The 2026 Tribeca Film Festival will take place between June 3 and 14, 2026, at various locations across New York City. Click here to view this year’s screening and programming schedule.
