Joshua Ray Walker is ending an era. Back in April 2025, the “I Don’t Wanna Be” singer set out to record and release a musical trilogy. In June 2025, Walker shared Tropicana, which was followed by Stuff in October of that same year. Tomorrow (May 29), Walker’s mission will be complete with his forthcoming album, Ain’t Dead Yet.
The 10-track project, which includes his previously released singles “Shoot Me Straight,” “Chasing Sunsets,” and “Capital Letters,” helps Walker to fulfill a personal promise. Over on Instagram, Walker shared that mission with fans
“‘Ain’t Dead Yet’ is the final chapter in the trilogy of records I made before, during, and after my battle with cancer,” wrote Walker. “Even though it’s being released last, it was started first. The version of the record that will see the light of day on May 29th is the third iteration since beginning recording three years ago. It changed and grew and suffered along with me during my journey. I’m very proud to announce that it is finally done.”

Supporting Tour
Back in April, Joshua Ray Walker kicked off his Ain’t Dead Yet Tour. Along the North American leg of his tour run with Cecilia Castleman serving as a special guest in New York City and Philadelphia. At the end of June and into August Walker will tour Europe. Then in September, Walker will finish off the North American leg.
