The new class of rap rookies is nothing to scoff at—especially the faith-based emcees. Atop the list of Christian rappers to take notice of is Detroit native Parris Chariz. So much so that the World 45 founder has already earned comparison to several modern-day hip-hop titans.
But his story is only just beginning. After independently releasing several projects, including Take You To Parris (2024), SuperSplash Bros. 2 (2022), 2045 & 2025: Airwaves (2020), In My Weakness (2018), and Polaroid (2017), Chariz is partnering with Reflection Music Group (RMG) for his next body of work.
In an announcement shared with ENVERT, a representative with RMG revealed Parris Chariz had signed with the label. Later this month (June 26), Chariz’s label debut, The World Is Watching, will hit streaming platforms.
Today (June 5), Chariz released the latest Derek Minor-produced single “Christian Mingle” from the forthcoming album, following previously shared records “Replica” and “2003” featuring Ots J Huncho.
