Sister duo Neoni evoke the alt style of Bilie Eilish and Canada’s Lights, blending their influences into their own hooky, artfully futuristic brand of electronic pop. Following their initial EPs, they garnered wider buzz with 2024’s The Death of Daisies.

Born in Florida, sisters Caitlin Powell and Sidney Powell grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and Denver, Colorado. Initially starting out as a folk duo, they busked at local establishments and strip malls while developing their sound. They named themselves Facing West and released several albums which caught the attention of Nashville producer David Spencer, who began working with the duo. By 2019, they had dubbed themselves Neoni (which is the Scottish Gaelic word for “zero”) and transformed their sound, weaving in atmospheric electronics, synths, and guitars. It was this sound they debuted on two EPs, 2021’s Wars in Wonderland and 2022’s All My Favorite Monsters.
