Emerging from Orange, CA, Ashes to Amber is the Post Wave/Bedroom Pop project that was formed in 2018 by Kane Acosta. Driven deeply by guitar melodies from the inspirations of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Eric Johnson, a chord rich tonality became the driving factor in his songwriting. He has released 4 full-length albums: Jade (2019), Do not Pick the Flowers (2021), My Little Maniac (2023), and THE AMERICAN JUNKIE (2024) as well as three EP’s and a myriad of singles. One of which HEEBIE JEEBIES (2022) charted at #1 on the Apple Music indie pop charts. Outside of music he is actively running charity events and beach cleanups to promote ocean conservation.
