Evan Honer is a fixture on the road. In fact, this summer fans of the “Everything I Wanted” singer can catch him opening for Tyler Childers, The Head And The Heart, as well as Darius Rucker, or at a music festival (including Laurel Cove 2026).
But Honer’s shows serve another purpose. Over on Instagram, Honer revealed that his 33-date It’s A Long Road Tour, which wrapped up in April, had accomplished its philanthropic mission.
“Thanks to everyone who came out to see a show on the ‘It’s A Long Road Tour,'” wrote Honer. “Together we raised over $20,000 for the Schizophrenia and Psychosis Action Alliance and their work shattering the barriers to treatment, survival, and recovery for people living with schizophrenia and psychosis-spectrum disorders.”
A representative for the label outlined how the fund would be designated and went on to announce the formation of The Cloverdale Project.
“The funds are supporting initiatives that connect people to critical information and community, including peer support groups, resource lines, and educational resources that help individuals and families navigate life after diagnosis, from finding treatment to securing housing,” wrote the rep.
To close the statement, the rep expanded on the initiatives’ mission.
“The Cloverdale Project is about taking care of people, animals, and the world around us,” opened the description. “The fund supports causes near and dear to the artists on Cloverdale Records, including supporting people living with schizophrenia and helping dogs find homes.”
Back on October 31, 2025, Honer announced his partnership with Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance in connection with the It’s A Long Road Tour.
“Means so much to be partnering with @sczaction and @plus1org this tour! Donating $1 per ticket to help break barriers to recovery for individuals with schizophrenia and psychosis-related disorders,” wrote Honer on Instagram.
