With the 2026 FIFA World Cup quickly approaching, the greater New York City area will be filled with soccer fans. Well, the region has more to offer than just sporting events, and the City Parks Foundation in partnership with Capital One has ensured that.
Beginning May 30, tens of thousands of music lovers will flock to one of New York City’s public parks for Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage 2026. Up until October 1, the city parks will hold the hottest free tickets in town for locals to catch performances by hundreds of musicians.
Some of the notable concerts featuring independent recording artists include Spoon with Ratboys at Central Park on July 8 as part of the Subaru Music Series presented by Bodega as well as Halfmoon BK & ColorsxStudio‘s presentation of Mereba, Mack Keane, and Arima Ederra on July 10 inside of Herbert Von King Park. MIKE with The Band of the Century and Max B will follow that up at Herbert Von King Park on July 11. The heat from Herbert Von King Park continues on July 12 with performances by Bilal, GENA, and DJ Tara in association with The Apollo Theater.
Over in Queens, De La Soul will shut things down inside of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park
on July 17 with Pete Rock. This show is presented in association with Queens Borough President Donovan Richards and Nas’ Mass Appeal.
Then back in Manhattan’s Central Park, Festival Latinidades and Afro-Latino Festival NYC will present Luedji Luna featuring Liniker, Susana Baca, Lady G, and Mai-Elka Prado featuring Lush Song Collective live in concert on July 26. The LAMC and the Latin Recording Academy will present two special concerts in Central Park. On July 29, the performance will feature Julieta Venegas, Lasso, and DJ Anamaria Sayre. On August 1, Trueno, Milo J, J Noa, and DJ Albina Cabrera will take the stage.
Chopstix, in association with the China Institute of America, will steer the programming reins on August 2, when they present WayV and The Either live in concert.
Lastly, Taiwanese Waves’ 10th anniversary show, presented by Chinatown Records, will command Central Park on August 16. This year’s performer lineup includes 9m88, ØZI, YELLOW, Chance Emerson, and Mong Tong.
Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage 2026 events will take place from May 30 until October 1, 2026. Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage 2026 events are held in various locations across New York City, including Central Park in Manhattan, Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn, and Socrates Sculpture Park in Queens.
