New Rising Sun has your Labor Day weekend plans set if you are in the Seattle area. The city’s beloved arts and music festival Bumbershoot is set to return to Seattle Center. On September 5 and 6, music lovers will descend on the city’s crown jewel for Bumbershoot 2026.
This year’s lineup features headliners Turnstile (September 5) and Death Cab For Cutie (September 6). In addition to Death Cab For Cutie, other notable independent artists set to perform at Bumbershoot 2026 include Die Spitz, Japanese Breakfast, Bikini Kill, Yves Tumor, Sudan Archives, Noname, and PawPaw Rod.
Noname’s forthcoming set marks a joyous celebration. As billed on the festival’s website, Noname is set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her critically acclaimed debut mixtape, Telefone.
In addition to the musical performances, on the Bumbershoot 2026 grounds, festivalgoers will have access to many other arts activations, including comedy sets, a puppet house, bungie jumping, sculpture displays, dance performances, a gallery show, fashion shows, and more.
