The wait is nearly over. Atop the month, Avery Cochrane rolled out her fall Weapons of Iridescence Tour dates. But the real questions had for the rising pop singer was when they could expect more music. Well, over on X (formerly Twitter), Cochrane revealed that answer.
“My debut album, ‘VENGEANCE THROUGH MY OMNIPRESENCE,’ out January 29th,” penned Cochrane.
Cochrane’s announcement of her long-awaited full-length debut was met with overwhelming messages of support.
“OMG I’m so excited, I already know it’s going to be pure pop perfection 🫶,” replied one follower.
“‘Male Validation and Other Drugs’ was tea so excited for this😍,” chimed another referring to Cochrane’s EP that was released in March.
In a statement sent to ENVERT, Cochrane provided insight into what themes will be explored on the forthcoming body of work.
“The title ‘Vengeance Through My Omnipresence’ means becoming undeniable,” said Cochrane. “Whether it’s massive career success, or an indescribable ghostly existence at my ex’s house, the people who have ever used or doubted me will have no choice but to hear my name forever. But at what emotional cost?”
She continued, “That’s the journey this album explores. From loss, to grief, to revenge, to acceptance.”
Cochrane’s official Spotify page confirms will feature 14 tracks, including previous singles “Toy Gun,” “Shapeshifting On A Saturday,” “Losing Streak,” and “Sex, Etc.” A list of collaborators (producers, co-writers, etc) has not yet been shared.
