Back in 2023, Militarie Gun released their acclaimed album, Life Under The Gun. Now, the band is ready to release their full-length follow-up.
Described by Rolling Stone as the “intersection of self-destruction and self-belief,” Militarie Gun’s forthcoming album, God Save The Gun, is 14 tracks of pure, unadulterated rock music soaked in emotional reflection. If you have any doubts, just check out one of the band’s three lead singles, “B A D I D E A,” “Throw Me Away,” or “Thought You Were Waving.”
In a statement, Militarie Gun’s frontman Ian Shelton braced listeners for what would hit them after pressing play.
“I’m well aware that being this vulnerable turns my personal trauma into a marketing hook for this album,” said Shelton. “But I’m fine with it, if not provoking it.”
