Bad Bunny Announced As The Headliner For Super Bowl LX’s Apple Music Halftime Show

Bad Bunny is heading back to the Super Bowl. Although the football season is just warming up, fans of the game already have something to look forward to during the championship game.

Yesterday (September 28), the National Football League confirmed Bad Bunny as Super Bowl LX’s Apple Music Halftime show headliner. Come February 8, 2026, the “NUEVAYoL” musician will take to Levi’s Stadium (the San Francisco 49ers’ home) for his headlining performance.

Back in 2020, Bad Bunny joined Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s halftime set as a special guest. Now, fresh off the heels of his record-setting 30-night No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny is ready to take over the reins.

In a statement, Bad Bunny shared his excitement for the career milestone.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” said Bad Bunny. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

As the curator of the halftime show, Jay-Z, the CEO of Roc Nation, echoed Bad Bunny’s sentiments.

“What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring,” said Jay-Z. “We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”

After announcing the decision not to book any US stops for his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour run amid ongoing ICE mass deportations efforts, Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl appearance is highly anticipated by American fans.

Super Bowl LX (Super Bowl 2026) is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026. The game and Apple Music Halftime show will be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
