As the summer season comes to a close, New Jersey is set to wrap up its outdoor festival with a bang. This weekend, the Garden State’s beloved multi-day event Sea.Hear.Now will bring professional athletes and musicians alike to the Jersey Shore.
Across September 13 and 14, the Asbury Park Waterfront is set to serve as Sea.Hear.Now 2025’s home (as usual). This year’s festival is headlined by Hozier (September 13), LCD Soundsystem (September 13), Alabama Shakes (September 13), Blink-182 (September 14), Lenny Kravitz (September 14), and Sublime (September 14). But just as Sea.Hear.Now never ventures too far away from its mission to showcase New Jersey-based talent.
In the small font, you’ll find Garden State natives, including Surfing For Daisy, Phoneboy, Tide Bends, and Not Yer Baby. Sea.Hear.Now 2025 also features several independent acts Mondo Cozmo, Hot Mulligan, Landon McNamara, Bumpin Uglies, Grace Bowers, Neal Francis, and Spoon.
Ahead of their appearance, I had the chance to chat with Surfing For Daisy about their upcoming set at Sea.Hear.Now 2025. Read our chat below.
Sea.Hear.Now 2025 is scheduled to take place from September 13 and September 14, 2025, at the Asbury Park Waterfront in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Although the festival is completely sold out, there is a waitlist in case last-minute tickets are made available. Click here for more information.

New Jersey is a breeding ground for entertainment. Each year, Sea.Hear.Now highlights the state’s rich impact in music by featuring local acts. For Sea.Hear.Now 2025, Surfing For Daisy serves as one of those featured acts.
The alt folk rock band representing Asbury Park is composed of lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist Nick Francis, electric guitarist Mike Bernabei, drummer and percussionist Steven Filippone, bassist Cam Seidel, electric guitarist and backup vocalist Dan DiSantis, as well as keyboardist and backup vocalist Kathryn McCarty.
The festival placement comes at a foundational time for the group, having formed fairly recently and on the heels of their Live at Wonder Bar album’s upcoming release.
“Hitting The Park Stage at Sea.Hear.Now 2025 is so huge for us,” said the group. “It is our first major festival appearance, and to be local makes it all that much more special.”
The group continued: “When we started this band a little over two years ago, it quickly became our goal and focus to try to play the festival. So we are really proud to be able to be on the bill. We are so blessed to be a part of such a great music community here in Asbury Park.”
Although Surfing For Daisy acknowledges the pressures of their Sea.Hear.Now debut, they ensure they are ready for the moment.
“Attendees can expect to see us leave our hearts and souls on that stage,” says the band. “We'll be playing some songs off our debut album, but also maybe a couple of brand new, unreleased ones. It's going to be one big party with some of our closest friends and family in attendance, and we cannot wait to rip it on the big stage!”
Surfing For Daisy Band is scheduled to perform on Sunday, September 14, on the Park Stage beginning at 12:30 p.m. Stay connected with Surfing For Daisy Band on Instagram and Facebook.
