Ben Reilly Begs Lover ‘Don’t Lose The Plot’ On His Romantic New Record

Not all good doers wear a cape, but Heroman, better known as Ben Reilly, often sports a domino mask. Instead of bringing vigilante justice to the music streets, on his latest release, Ben Reilly is looking to clean up the dating market.

Ben Reilly’s new single, “Don’t Lose The Plot!,” which is produced by Waseel, speaks to many trivial distractions that push lovers further away from one another.

Although vigilance of red flags is crucial when entertaining a potential suitor, in “Don’t Lose That Plot!” Ben Reilly argues that hyperfixation on rehabilitable offenses has stomped out far too many intimate embers.

“Sometimes this life is too fast for a slow dance / In need of a change / Pictures in my brain that I’m eager to frame / Baby pose for this Kodak / Baby / Stories that you’ve heard about me / I’ll explain / Maybe I should tell the truth I’m not ashamed / Don’t lose the plot / I’ma get you right if nothing else / Every single time, nah for real I wanna see something real,” raps Reilly.

Ben Reilly seems to be on a crusade to revive the romantic rap that women love, and men should take note of. If so, “Don’t Lose The Plot!” is his suave thesis to end the exhaustive debates surrounding today’s dating market.

For the track’s supporting visual, directed by Jacob Rink, viewers follow Reilly along with model and designer Mariam Haidara on their unabashed pursuit of love.

Despite outside interference, the two find their way back to each other in a mix of colorful interactions.
