Russ’ last studio album, SANTIAGO, was released in 2023. The two-year gap was bridged in 2024 when Russ’ short film supporting the project premiered in theaters for a limited run. Now, Russ is ready to follow up with another full-length body of work.
Next week, Russ’ forthcoming album, W!LD, is ready to further his creative expansion. The album’s lead singles, “Movin,” “April 7,” “Crazy,” and “Pent Up In A Penthouse,” paint a vivid picture of Russ’ layered mission for the project.
To give fans insight into his process, Russ shared a detailed note ahead of W!LD‘s release, discussing the album. In the message, Russ outlined W!LD‘s core theme, writing: “The title ‘W!LD’ represents my evolved perspective on life’s inherent unpredictability and the transitional phase between resisting life’s challenges and embracing them.”
“This album isn’t about me naively or arrogantly entering the unknown,” he continued. “But confidently proceeding, newly armed with the understanding that both joy and hardship are integral to the journey.”
