The US isn’t the only country with pop acts on the rise. Over in Liverpool, England, Pixey is quickly building a name for herself, one notable collaboration (Tom McFarland and Rich Turvey) at a time. With the success of the singer’s breakout single, “Million Dollar Baby,” supporters are counting down the days until she drops her debut album by the same name.
A statement about the project provided fans with insight into Pixey’s full-length introductory project. “[Million Dollar Baby] follows her journey of self-discovery as an artist and shedding the illusions surrounding it,” read the note. “[She’s] combining her love for 90s breakbeats with her pop prowess and skill as a producer.”
