Chicago-based band Smut (made up of bassist/synth Sam Ruschman & Bell Cenower, guitarist Andrew Min, vocalist Tay Roebuck) has taken to social media to announce they have inked a deal with Brooklyn-based record label Bayonet Records. With their signature crunchy guitars with swirling synths, Smut are experimental in the ways they blend genre and noise. The Cincinnati natives know for their moody pop music will be a great addition to the Bayonet roster.
Fans can expect their label debut EP Power Fantasy on all digital streaming platforms and limited pressing on November 20. While fans await the release, check out their previous video for breakout single, “rosewater” below.
