After an extended hiatus, fans of IMG Records’ Tangina Stone can now rejoice as the Brooklyn-based singer is back with a hot new moving and grooving single, “AIR”.
While the track produced by White Light is Stone’s first official exploration into the EDM genre quickly makes it home with her vocals comfty resting in-between the elaborately arranged instrumentation.
In an interview with EARMILK‘s Celeste Daniella Ceres, Stone spoke about the inspiration behind the track stating, “I am not releasing ‘AIR’ because I want to redefine myself as an EDM artist. I am releasing it to say that I can be. Because I, and black artists, in general, can create music in whatever genre that we feel and still be ourselves.”
