Back in 2021, The Weather Station shared her critically acclaimed project Ignorance. Since its release, the “Tried To Tell You” musician has pushed her artistic sensibilities in a myriad of ways. On her long-awaited follow-up album Humanhood, The Weather Station’s quest for meaningful collaborations will shine bright.
On the body of the work’s lead singles “Neon Signs,” “Window,” and “Body Moves,” The Weather Station’s emphasis on music communities is front and center. But that is only the beginning. Throughout Humanhood, supporters will hear the results of The Weather Station’s improvisation session at Toronto’s Canterbury Music Company with six musicians (drummer Kieran Adams, bassist Ben Whiteley, and multi-instrumentalist Ben Boye, Tamara Lindeman, Philippe Melanson, and Karen Ng).
