Mello Music Group’s Mr. Lif & Akrobatik better known as Boston Hip-Hop duo The Perceptionists stopped by NPR Headquarters to promote their forthcoming album, Resolution. The pair put on a laid back live show for the acclaimed NPR Series Tiny Desk Concert performing hits songs, “Out of Control”, “Lemme Find Out”, “A Different Light”, and “Early Morning”.
The band they brought made up of Tommy Benedetti (of John Brown’s Body) on drums, Van Gordan Martin on guitar, Lean Thomas aka Chop on Keys, and legendary bassist Ashish Vyas (of Thievery Corporation) made it all the more special.
