For three years, Skullcrusher fans have been clinging to the “Places/Plan” singer’s debut album, Quiet The Room. Next month, the long-awaited follow-up, And Your Song Is Like A Circle, will hit streaming services.
So far, Skullcrusher has shared two tracks from the forthcoming release, “Exhale” and “March.” But the double dose is just a. mere fraction of what’s up Skullcrusher’s sonic sleeve.
In the liner notes provided by Dirty Hit, And Your Song Is Like A Circle is described as: “Swaying between vaporous folk and crystalline electronics, landing somewhere in the snowfields shared by Grouper and Julia Holter, Circle probes the ways that grief turns itself inside out. Loss itself becomes as real and substantial as what’s been lost.”
