Last year, Americana music lovers crowned Sierra Ferrell the genre’s new queen. The “Dollar Bill Bar” singer’s Americana Honors & Awards-winning album, Trail of Flowers, played a momentous role in her coronation. Ferrell’s whopping four nominations for the 2025 Grammys, which included Best Americana Album, Best Americana Performance (“American Dreaming”), Best American Roots Song (“American Dreaming”), and Best American Roots Performance (“Lighthouse”), seemingly solidified fan’s bold claims.
With her newly found fame, folks are itching to see how Ferrell follows up on the buzz-worthy project. Instead of dropping a new album, Sierra Ferrell announced that supporters should first expect a deluxe edition of Trail Of Flowers.
On January 31, Ferrell’s Trail Of Flowers: Deluxe Edition will hit digital streaming platforms through Rounder Records. In addition to the dozen songs, Ferrell will share two new recordings on Trail of Flowers: Deluxe Edition. Those tracks include a cover of the bluegrass classic “Don’t Let Your Deal Go Down” and an expanded arrangement of her breakthrough “The Garden.”
