The journey for indie rap star Radamiz hasn’t been the easiest but his resilience over the years has shown that the East Coast rapper deserves every accolade he’s received thus far.
The Bed-Stuy Brooklyn native has shown us his Sumner Projects stomping grounds throughout his discography but on his new single, “Know My Name” featuring Oxytocin he brings BK to the Dominican Republic.
Radamiz teamed up with director FifthGod to capture an intimate look into his family, upbringing, and culture in his words his “most important music video to date”. Watch the full video above!
In an interview with Respect Mag, Radamiz spoke on the makings of the video stating, “I want to give you my peaceful countryside life when I disappear to in the general Sajoma region. The main locations are the campos of Yerba Buena and Las Lomas De Los Palos.”
Later adding, “my experiences there have made me the man & artist I am today and I’m so excited to finally share this with you.”

Whether I'm popping in to an open mic night or digital crate-digging for hours through my favorite digital streaming platform, finding indie artists is the name then telling their story is the game.
