Last month, Radamiz shocked fans by dropping his latest EP Lightman, alongside producer Fortes. But the “Gratitude Is Gangsta” rapper and producer’s musical partnership is far from over.
Today (May 6), Radamiz announced that he and Fortes have a full-length follow-up ready to go. In an email message to fans, Radamiz confirmed that Lightman will be expanded upon for his first studio album in six years on June 18.
“My first album in 6 years,” he wrote. “Many of you have started to experience it, early listening events, early performances.
The EP setting it off. But we’re here now, and a new thing is finally happening.”
He continued: “I haven’t done this before, we haven’t spoken like this before for sure. Cowardly cells have died off in interesting ways – bravery has found me more. Stripping away unnecessary details was needed. The words are first, thinking out loud. I have too much to say, and you’ll hear about it all. We become new, we reveal who we are now.”
Neither of the musicians has shared the project’s official tracklist. However, over on Spotify, they confirmed songs “One/Slide,” “Face Up,” “East vs. West?,” “Clean Hands,” and “My Darlin, It’s Winter Again” will be featured among the album’s 18 tracks. Supporters will have the chance to experience the body of work live as Radamiz is set to hit the road with https://envertmedia.com/ab-soul-larussell-kota-the-friend-flight-night-music-fest-2024/ as part of his No Rap On Sunday Tour.
Radamiz’s discography includes mixtapes Writeous (2016), Every Bad Day Has Good News (2021), and El Duende! (2023), album Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes (2019), and EPs Synonyms Of Strength (2020) and Lightman (2025).
