New Jersey based indie rap star PHILIPPE gifted herself with a rather creative birthday present this year. To celebrate her trip around the sun, PHILIPPE called on frequent collaborators Kid Deceus and PapiDess for hot new single, “Dope In The Water”.
We had a chance to catch up with PHILIPPE to ask about how the record came to be to which she replied, “the record was produced by Shali of The Gria Bros Productions. I collaborated with two friends who provided their vocals. Kid Deceus is singing at the intro of the record and rapper PapiDess is on the hook,” adding, “the inspiration behind the track was just wanting to make a feel good record and display the confidence I have within myself and the magic that can be created through collaboration..”
