Indie R&B lovers, it is time to come to the front. Next month, Ari Lennox will be hitting the road to celebrate the release of her third studio album, Vacancy. Although the “Soft Girl Era” singer is notably signed with Interscope, Lennox is showing her love for the independent R&B scene.
On March 6, Ari Lennox took to Instagram to announce that crooners Phabo and Lekan would be joining her on the 32-date Vacancy Tour this spring.
“The vibes just got even better,” Lennox captioned the post. “Just added special guests Lekan and Phabo.”
Both gentlemen took to their respective social media platforms to thank Lennox for sharing her stage with them. In a statement shared on Instagram, Phabo wrote: “32 nights of pure R&B. Thank you, Ari Lennox.”
The timing couldn’t be more divine for Phabo. Back in January, the singer, songwriter, and producer released his latest studio album, Ratchet & Blues, which serves as an outstanding sonic complement to Lennox’s Vacancy.
Lekan, on the other hand, hasn’t released a new body of work since 2024’s So You Know EP. But, he’s kept the ears of fans with recent singles “Come Thru” and “Make It Right.” However, editor Flisadam Pointer is adamant that Lekan has something special up his sleeve.
“After his September 2025 one-night only show in Brooklyn with Kiah Victoria, Lekan teased to me that he was working on something supporters would love,” says Pointer. “I believe Lekan will take this time on the road to test out new material. And if I am right, we are in for a very sultry summer.”
Lekan has spent the last few years on the road gaining supporters. He’s even earned heavy co-signs from Grammy Award-winners like Tems. Lekan acknowledged his live show grind while showing gratitude to Lennox on Instagram.
“Back on the road,” wrote Lekan. “Grateful to announce I’ll be supporting @arilennox on the ‘Vacancy’ tour. Can’t wait to see all of y’all.”
