What do you want to be remembered for? What will your life’s legacy be? Traditionally, these are questions you explore towards the latter part of your life reflecting on the impact you’ve made. However, New Jersey-based Hip-Hop duo PeteyxKraze is paying it forward with their new single, “Legacy” produced by Dre Rodner.
The music market has become oversaturated with acts looking to gain online notority and a quick pay day but what separates those acts from artists is the ability to connect with deeper meaning to anyone that their music reaches. On “Legacy”, the Jersey City natives continue to elevate their techniques and build upon their foundation unveiling the true value of individuality within the art form known as Hip-Hop.
When asked about the meaning behind the track, Petey of duo replied, “every day you add more to your legacy. Continue to be you, don’t change for shit. Who you are defines your legacy. This one for anyone who needed some inspiration this year trust me I needed it too!”
