Reggae trio Oxygen Box Band made up of lead vocalist and keyboardist, Natalie Alese, lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist, Stanley Chery and lead guitarist Malvo 509 is taking over New York City’s underground music scene! Although the band is based in New York City, the members actually met at an open mic event in New Jersey. After the show, the trio continued to develop their musical relationship eventually blossoming into songwriting sessions and live performances together to form the Oxygen Box Band.
This band is much more than just music. Drawing inspiration from pioneers such as Bob Marley and the Wailers and vocal chameleon India Arie, the Oxygen Box Band “[performs] soul surgery” with each track they release and their two new singles “Turn On The Street Light” and “Give Me Your Love” are no different!
