Philly-based alternative R&B singer and songwriter Orion Sun is planting her roots down at Mom + Pop Records! After being deemed the 2019 Artist To Watch by NPR Music, Orion gained a buzz following her live performances alongside Noname, Ibeyi and Sudan Archives.
Pulling inspiration from the late J Dilla, Nancy Wilson, Jodeci, Kirk Franklin, Hazel Scott, and Digable Planets her new single, “Ne Me Quitte Pas” (Don’t Leave Me) capitalizes on that velvety jazz and folk sound with R&B instrumentals.
