From his releases with Oasis and the subsequent solo drops, Noel Gallagher is a certified rock star. While most would argue about what elements rock stars are comprised of, vibrant fashions are sure to make the list.
Noel Gallagher’s looks are far less flashy than those of other musicians. But the area where Gallagher shines bright is his always chic sunglasses. With that in mind, Noel Gallagher is combining his love for eyewear and philanthropy thanks to his new collaboration with FINLAY.
Together, Gallagher and the UK-based eyewear brand announced The Chiltern, a limited-edition sunglass collection featuring Noel’s beloved frame silhouette.
Retailing at $260, the Chiltern line is offered in three colors: crystal, pebble, and black. Noel’s signature color way is the crystal colored frame with blue lenses. Each item comes with a bespoke case, cleaning cloth, and inlayed metal logos.
In a statement shared with ENVERT, Noel raved about the charitable collaboration.
“Well, it’s in the manual, isn’t it,” he snarked. “It actually says in the rock star book, ‘Thou shalt wear shades at all times, preferably indoors.’”
Twenty-five percent of Chiltern’s sale price, which encompasses 100% of Noel’s royalties, will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust, which supports young people with cancer aged 13 to 24.
