Mello Music Group‘s Nolan The Ninja returns with a new single, “2 Cents” off his forthcoming SPORTEE due out April 19. Producer 5YNOT hits the lo-fi laid back throwback vibes heavy giving Nolan and Chuck Inglish (of The Cool Kids) room to blaze those eager to offer their unsolicited 2 cents.
In an interview with VIBE Magazine, Nolan spoke about how the track came to be, “Chuck & I met some months ago through my homie, JUS. We chopped it up & a few days later, we were in the studio. I was just going through joints I had & he told me to keep “2 Cents” rolling. He wrote to it & we knocked it out. I remember him calling it some ‘futuristic Wu shit’.”
