Two weeks after the release of Marlowe’s debut album, L’Orange & Solemn Brigham have returned with a new video for “Things We Summon“. The video is an ambitious journey through space, reminiscent of Interstellar or The Twilight Zone. A fan-favorite track, the song floats through a creepy haze of melody, Solemn pushing through with a haunting tune.
When asked about the inspiration behind the track, Solemn Brigham replied, “Things We Summon is one of the smoothest cuts on Marlowe. It’s a contrast to some of the quicker tracks and brings a calm but still urgent pace to reflect to,” adding, “working with Alex Thompson was great. I think the video perfectly matches the tone of the song and creates an eerie atmosphere to keep you floating. Shout out to Mello for seeing the record through. Don’t be consumed by the things you summon”.
