Electronic duo Mass House is bringing the sounds of the British underground such as grime and techno across the pond. Previously known from the four-member band, DUMB, lifelong best friends Dylan Williams and Tom Minchin are breaking out on their own with an infectious sound.
While their lead single, “Rootz” was “about a love/hate relationship with a self-destructive nature”, on “Birmingham” the pair pulls inspiration from a much darker place. In their words, “[Birmingham] is a song of confliction. The balance between being suffocated by our surroundings and the ‘Stockholm syndrome’ we feel towards the streets of Birmingham.”
