You should be familiar with Limage if you’ve been watching alt-R&B’s rising acts. The “Devious” singer has quickly recruited music lovers into their fan base. With the support of Grammy Award-winning producer LosHendrix, Limage is ready to make their first artistic statement.
Later this month (February 28), Limage will drop their debut EP, Nothing Special. But don’t be fooled by the project’s title; Limage is set to make a name for themselves across its nine tracks.
In a message, Limage discussed the creative vision for the EP. “‘Nothing Special’ is an exploration of the ache for connection—the kind that consumes you and feels like everything, only to fade into nothing,” they wrote. “It’s about the illusions we hold onto, the stories we tell ourselves to make it real, and the quiet recognition that we’ve been here before. It’s a snapshot of a time when I poured myself into connections that ultimately weren’t special. But looking back, I see how those moments shaped me in ways I can’t ignore.”
Limage’s past single “Spooky” is notably absent from the project’s tracklist. However, “Shallow Games,” “Plug-In,” “Float,” and “Devious” can be found on the forthcoming body of work.
