Back in 2020, Lila Iké made her formal musical introduction. But the “He Love Us Both” singer has come a long way creatively since The ExPerience. Later this month, Lila Iké’s debut studio album, Treasure Self Love, will hit streaming platforms.
As a taste of what’s to come, Lila Iké stopped by COLORS to deliver a triumphant performance of her single, “Scatter.”
While Lila Iké is known for her reggae R&B fusion tunes, it is hard to classify “Scatter” as a praise and worship song. Between Lila Iké’s vocal conviction and the track’s faith-filled lyrics, “Scatter” is soaked in striking spiritual clarity.
“May all my enemies scatter before me / Many try but fail if they coming my way / Behold I’m blessed Jah don cover me surely / It’s a must the works gon live for these days / All my enemies scatter before me, Jah make me see all my enemies scatter before me” sings Lila Iké.
