Back in May, after a 32-night run, Lekan wrapped up his time on the road alongside Ari Lennox. But just because The Vacancy Tour has concluded does not mean you can’t catch the “Safety” singer live in a city near you.
Over on Instagram, Masego revealed that Lekan will be joining his Fix Your Face Tour as a special guest.
“You love RnB right,” Masego asked followers.
He continued, “But you reached in your Goyard bag, and the funds weren’t funding. Well, don’t worry. Lekan told me personally that he’s going to pay rent, buy bags, and even harmonize your favorite scammer song. Come to the fix your face tour and demand Lekan do all these things.”
The Fix Your Face Tour kicked off yesterday (August 4), but there are still 27 dates remaining. However, Lekan won’t open for Masego’s New York City (August 25) and Los Angeles (September 16) tour stops.
But Lekan hasn’t forgotten about these cities. As part of Blue Note Jazz Club’s ‘Coast To Coast’ series, he will have a solo show at the venue in those cities: Blue Note LA on September 21 and Blue Note NYC on September 25.
