Whoever said country music performances were lackadaisical hasn’t seen Lainey Wilson live in action. Yesterday (May 17), country music’s biggest party brought out some fierce competition. But the “Ring Finger” singer wasn’t worried about securing another ACM trophy.
Although Lainey didn’t walk away from the 2026 ACM Awards with any category wins, she still managed to snatch something worth bragging about—performance of the night.
Fresh off of her breathtakingly simple wedding ceremony, Wilson saved the theatrics for the ACM stage. With dazzling light sequences that should’ve included an epilepsy warning, a riveting fog show that could make a rock star jealous, and entrancing camera shots, Lainey Wilson’s performance of “Can’t Sit Still” guaranteed viewers at home would certainly get up and stay on their feet.
