Here’s Everything We Know About: King Princess’s Album ‘Girl Violence’

King Princess is back and has a whole lot to say. It’s been three years since the “1950” musician’s last studio album, Hold On Baby. In the next few weeks, the long-anticipated follow-up, Girl Violence, will hit streaming platforms.

Led singles “Cry Cry Cry,” “Girls,” and “RIP KP” vividly paint the “bold pop anthems and intimate confessionals” mission explained by King Princess.

According to its liner notes, Girl Violence was birthed after King Princess walked away from “a long-term relationship, a major label deal, and a city that dulled her spark.”

Each of these devastating elements led to King Princess pouring that “chaos, clarity, and the catharsis of starting over” in a body of work.
