Here’s Everything We Know About: Kiana Ledé’s Album ‘Cut Ties (Deluxe Version)’

One year ago, singer and songwriter Kiana Ledé spread her wings to soar in the plains of independence, departing from Republic Records. As a result, fans of the “EX” vocalist were treated to her most expansive work to date, the album Cut Ties.

Now to celebrate the anniversary of its release, Kiana Ledé is ready to expand its tracklist. With one new original song (“Jury”) and three rework records (“Weakness,” “U Can’t Remember,” and “Outta Luck”), Kiana has so much more to say.

On the first installment’s anniversary, Kiana shared a statement on Instagram reflecting on the body of work, saying: “This was our first independent release, so I wanted to make sure I put my back into this creative vision to match the effort we put into telling my story in the music.”

She continued: “For this album, I wanted my love of horror and gory things to represent the times love and all types of relationships have become a little twisted and painful when I held onto them for too long. Since then, I have gotten REALLY good at cutting chords and I hope I helped you too.”

Kiana closed by thanking her support system, fans, and team alike.

“Thank you so much to my team and the other artists and creatives that helped me string this together,” she wrote. “Thank you guys for listening, thank you for caring, and thank you for supporting me as I go through this journey as an independent artist.”

Supporting Tour

Then, Kiana Ledé hit the road with Jhené Aiko to serve as support on her The Magic Hour Tour.

So, fans remain hopeful that a solo headlining tour could be in the works for Kiana Ledé.
