Whether I'm popping in to an open mic night or…
The COVID-19 pandemic has been mentally, physical, and financially difficult on us all, singer and songwriter KAINA has been transparent with fans about the changeling time she has faced on both a personal and professional level. Her latest album It Was A Home (via City Slang) provided the Chicago native with a creative outlet to channel her emotions. Now with the release of the 12-track project, KAINA is ready to hit the room to share in the healing with fans as part of the official It Was A Home North America tour.
The 20-date tour will kick off on April 28 in Toronto and will end in her hometown of Chicago as part of the Pitchfork Festival from July 15th until July 17th.

Whether I'm popping in to an open mic night or digital crate-digging for hours through my favorite digital streaming platform, finding indie artists is the name then telling their story is the game.
